The Supreme Court Majority has once again, failed to protect the interests of American citizens by fully endorsing Doge, the quasi-Department-of-Government-Efficiency. Every ounce of privacy we might have naively thought protected is officially gone forever. AND if that isn’t assault enough, this same court has joined the throngs of this authoritarian-like DELAY! DELAY! DELAY! administration by “temporarily” staying lower court rulings of various nature only to later rule against the people hoping we are looking the other way or have forgotten this assault on our personal liberties. These two decisions make it inevitable that the results of this Supreme Court’s majority ruling will unequivocally share responsibility for the attempted demolition of our democracy.
These 2025 dual “emergency relief” decisions allowing inexperienced, non-vetted, non-elected, friends, acquaintances, family members, and/or employees of un-elected billionaire Elon Musk, to aggregate data on all US citizens without ANY OVERSIGHT except that of sycophants to an American president, is abhorrent.
It’s an irresponsible betrayal to hand over to unknown Doge personnel the private financial, medical, dental, health, and whatever data on every US citizen available so DOGE can “root out” Waste Fraud and Abuse (WFA) which to date, carries with it the same level of illegitimacy that WMDs did two decades ago. Absolute idiocy!
It should be clear to anyone not pandering to an American president who desires to be a king, and his unimaginably unqualified cabinet that this administration, by its own actions, grossly exhibits waste, fraud, and abuse. We are witnessing the looting of our country and the lawlessness of those elected or appointed to protect it.
