Practicing the Art of Perseverance

We’ve all heard the saying that goes something like: People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.  OR, some people come into your life as blessings, others come into your life as lessons. Apparently, there is no official credited quotation and for all I know these expressions were inspired by the Byrds’ classic: Turn! Turn! Turn!

Some might say that song originated with the Bible’s Ecclesiastes 3:1–8 which describes the “balanced, cyclical nature of life..”  Regardless I love these sayings; there is something mystical about them.

I had a person come into my life for a season and I believe we each benefited from the experience despite the disappointing end.; disappointment felt by each of us for different reasons.

Lessons learned? Yes.   Regrets? None.
